Iain Duncan
Director, Developer, Head of Sales and Marketing
Company founder and developer Iain Duncan has been teaching himself programming since discovering the Commodore 64 in 1986. He studied the Csound audio programming environment as a music student at the University of British Columbia in the mid 1990's, going on to C++, Python, PHP, PureData, and PIC Assembly, building linux based midi and audio performing systems.
In 2006, Iain founded XORNOT Studios, specializing in custom Python web and database applications. Iain's experience in a wide variety of programming languages and application domains uniquely enables him to analyze the needs of his clients, providing solutions that strike the right balance of development cost, future extensibility, and integration with existing business processes. If he's not at the computer, Iain is likely playing a saxophone or making computer music.
Glyn Gibson
Co-Director, Developer, Head of Technology and Infrastructure
Glyn Gibson joined XORNOT in 2008, after previously working as a web developer at Pac Blue Digital Reprographics, as well freelancing. Glyn's fascination with the latest in web technology and cloud computing positions him ideally as our head of infrastructure and technology. Glyn has studied Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, and is comfortable with a great diversity of platforms and languages. When not writing code or scouring the web for new breakthroughs, Glyn DJs and produces electronic music as DJ Glyn.
